Been tweeting a lot. Debating whether this LJ needs Loud Twitter. Or, on the other hand if people don't want tweets can read their LJ f'lists, and those who do want my tweets can add me on twitter.

No LJ ever needs a Twitter feed on it. The two styles of communications are not compatible.

Good point, they are two entirely different types of beast. Even though I find myself updating FB, twitter, and LJ with some of the same things.

You know, I don't agree. I don't bother following someone on twitter if they post their tweets to LJ, and posting individual tweets to LJ is unfollow-worthy, but I don't feel like they're such different animals. I was looking at programs to download a twitter stream into a book earlier today, and I think in that format it really wouldn't be so different from my LJ, just in a funny stream of consciousness kind of way.
