Here are the rules: 1) Link back to the person who tagged you (that= me!). 2) Post the rules on your blog. 3) Write six things about yourself. 4) Tag six people at the end of your post by posting links to their blog sites. 5) Let them know they’ve been tagged by leaving a comment on their site. 6) And let your tagger know when your entry is up.
Trying to think of six random things about myself....
1. I don't own an iPod, they never featured a built in FM tuner, I don't want to have to download iTunes on to my computer ($1.00 each can add up quickly), and don't like the fact that iTunes is proprietary, songs downloaded from there wont play in other players. Right now for music listening, it is still a portable CD player that will play MP3s, and has a built in FM radio with 20 FM presets. I used to have a Phillips music player that had a nice flash drive for MP3s and a built in FM radio tuner, but I lost it on the subway, and haven't had a chance to get a new one.
2. I don't use the f-list feature to read my LJ f-list, I prefer clicking on people's names and individual community names, and reading it that way, not sure why that is. Maybe it is because it is time for this LJ to be redesigned.
3. I still need a blanky to sleep, had one when I was a kid, got used to sleeping with it retired it when I went to college, and replaced it with a fleece throw blanket.
4 I'm starting to prefer winter to summer, summer is hot, summer is yucky. You can go places in the winter, you just need a bit more clothing! In the summer you get sweaty and yucky, yes swimming is nice, but that is what trips to warmer climates are for.
5. I'm seriously pissed about the fact that they are switching off the analog TV broadcasts on February 9, 2009. Digital broadcasting isn't better, and there are loads of people out there who can't afford a HUGE antenna that will need to be put outside their house to watch TV/can't afford cable.
6. My cell phone is bare bones, and has none of the popular new features, not even a cell phone cam or built in clock on the outside. It has a calculator and an alarm clock and I'm happy with that. I don't want to be able to access the net from anywhere I go, nor do I want a built in camera. I worry that if I were to do that, I would start taking pictures of outfits when I go clothes shopping, and asking internet buddies what they think, and should I buy.
